WHY MOVE IV MBC?
MBC is Stage IV, incurable breast cancer.
Your participation is more important than ever as MBC diagnoses are unfortunately rising.
The number of MBC patients increased by 31% from 2010 to 2020 and is expected to increase by 55% by 2030.
People aged 40 and younger are the fastest-growing MBC demographic. The 10-year survival rate for this age group is only 13%.
30% of breast cancer patients (stage I-III) will eventually develop stage IV, incurable MBC.
Over 42,000 MBC patients are estimated to die due to the disease this year in the United States.
Our mission at ROOTS & WINGS Charitable Foundation is to support integrative wellness programs that aim to increase emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being during the continuous oncology treatment for Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Most MBC patients undergo continuous treatment while living with unrelenting side effects, including intense physical and emotional pain, and often face tremendous financial burdens.
While MBC patients wait for a cure, we offer essential support to MBC patients and create better days today!
